Camp Descriptions

Raiders of the Lost Artifact (July 11th-15th)
This camp is for all the explorers. Join us for expeditions, scavenger hunts, and lots of outdoor fun. We will put on our archeological and detective caps, dig up dinosaur bones, and solve the mystery of the missing artifact. This camp is for all the adventurous children looking for some fun and mystery.

Superheroes (July 18th-22nd)
Throughout the week your child will transform into their own superhero. They will complete missions, explore their superpowers, and save the citizens. Come prepared with a creative imagination.

 Shipwrecked (July 25th-29th)
Join us at the Shipyard and spend the week on our ships where your child can be the captain of their own vessel. We will play water games, explore the history of river transportation in Fort McMurray in a fun and adventurous way, and learn how to survive on a shipwrecked island.

Time Travelers (August 8th-12th)
Come with us as we build a time machine and jump back in time to the early days of Fort McMurray where we explore old-fashioned school, living in the woods like trappers, and what it was like before technology. This week will be dedicated to learning survival skills, pioneer chores, and how to be one with nature.

Olympics and Old-Fashioned Games (August 15th-19th)
The 2022 Olympics may be over but the Heritage Olympics have just begun. Join us for events including potato sack races, tug of war, log rolling, and a mix of any more solo and team competitions. Bring your running shoes and team spirit.

Campers Got Talent (August 22nd-26th)
For all those kids who are bursting with energy and enthusiasm, we want to invite you to our Campers Got Talent Show! Spend the week learning new things, making friends, and exploring new talents. At the end of the week join us in watching Heritage Villages’ Talent Show put on entirely by your children. No prior expertise or talent is required.
